The pancha kosha model—the five sheaths—is one of yoga’s most essential frameworks for skillful practice and teaching. Yet despite the widespread familiarity with the theory of the five layers of being—physical, energetic, mental, intuitive, and causal—few experienced practitioners or teachers truly understand how specific yogic techniques, beginning with āsana, can be applied to consciously refine and elevate each sheath.

Throughout this three-day immersion, Rod—one of the West’s leading teachers of Tantra, Yoga, and Meditation—guides you through the koshas not as abstract concepts, but as living gateways to greater freedom, joy, and self-awareness.

For those seeking to bring more insight, effectiveness, and integrity to their yoga, this training provides a vital framework as well as the tools to do it.

The emphasis of our days is not theory for its own sake, but direct experience—so you can practice and teach with greater intention, precision, and depth. By the end of the immersion, you’ll have a working understanding of how to extend the power of practice, along with clear methods for enriching the physical, energetic, mental-emotional, intuitive, and causal dimensions of yoga.

You’ll experience how the kosha model—and its corresponding practices—allow you to:

  • Understand the multidimensional potential of yoga practice

  • Adapt your personal practice as your life, intentions, and circumstances evolve

  • Create balanced, effective, and purposeful sequences

  • Support students in meeting their true needs (not just their wants), moving beyond superficial effects toward lasting, meaningful impact in practice and in life

By the end, you will have a clear method for working with the physical, energetic, mental-emotional, intuitive, and causal dimensions of yoga—skills that elevate your teaching and enrich your practice.
